Yeah the whip is something I have been working on. I hadn't understood the back to front aspect of the whiping action so it didn't work properly. I think I am getting better at that now but my rotation of the body is lacking still! Any tips would be appreciated! Thanks so much for reading and commenting and I will get watching those videos!HarrieAJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15875312479541830831noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-387940998319051731.post-24808910435402698502017-07-24T02:27:21.845-07:002017-07-24T02:27:21.845-07:00Yes, my coach (Ben Larcombe (Expert TT)) says that...Yes, my coach (Ben Larcombe (Expert TT)) says that every single shot should have some type of spin on it. I agree the tension and pressure in tournament and match situations can make spinning difficult because your movement will become jerky and less fluid. I recommend footwork drills, they really help me. If you can at least be in the right place to make the shot then it should at least be a half decent and "spinny " every time. Thanks so much for reading. If you ever need a more simple style of English, just ask and I can explain anything! My understanding of how important using a whip action in all strokes has lead to a huge improvement in my backhand, serve, flick etc. For me it was one of the missing links.
Train hard.tabletennis101https://www.blogger.com/profile/08004573757808559927noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-387940998319051731.post-10379680633260817132017-07-11T08:20:35.086-07:002017-07-11T08:20:35.086-07:00Really nice blog!, is really incredible how our ga...Really nice blog!, is really incredible how our game can change when we learn on how to put spin on every ball... i'm a new player that is not having much time to train during the week (from 4 to 6 hs weekly) but i'm trying to be focus on that on every shoot. Unfortunately is very hard to keep the concentration to do this on tournament matches... i guess i will need to train more! and this is going to comme with time.
Sorry for my bad english.
